1. Arc Thermal Performance Value test performed at Kinectrics Laboratory in Ontario, Canada.

2. Flash fire mannequin test performed at PCERF – University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on March 10, 2008. 88% is the maximum percentage of total mannequin surface which may burn since hands and feet do not contain sensors. 7% of total mannequin surface represents the unprotected head of the mannequin. PCERF results for % of total mannequin surface reaching criteria for 2nd and 3rd degree burn for 7oz, 9oz, and 11oz Firewall are 9.60 (Burn # 1517), 8.65 (Burn # 1518), and 7.00 (Burn # 1519) respectively. Results shown in this website are % of total mannequin surface reaching 2nd and 3rd degree burn less 7% for the head. Garments tested as sold with striping. (view video)
